Hataka HTK-BS33 Early WW2 Soviet Air Force paint set (8x17ml) is a professional set of eight acrylic model paints dedicated to painting Soviet aircraft from the early World War II period (1937-1943). The set has been developed to authentically reproduce the colors used on USSR aircraft such as Polikarpov I-15bis, I-16, I-153, MiG-1/MiG-3, Yak-1, Yak-7, Yak-9, LaGG-3, La-5, Pe-2, Pe-8, Il-2, and others.

The set includes the following colors:

• HTK-B078 - Aluminium: used from 1937-1940 on wooden and fabric surfaces, e.g., I-153, UT-1/2.
• HTK-B127 - AE-9 Light Grey: used from 1937 to 1940 for metal surfaces, especially SB, I-15bis, I-153, I-16.
• HTK-B128 - A II Green (Protective): camouflage for upper surfaces, often on fighters and bombers in the years 1937-1941.
• HTK-B129 – A II Light Blue: for the lower surfaces of mixed construction aircraft (June 1940–July 1941).
• HTK-B072 - AMT-7 Greyish Blue: under surfaces in camouflage schemes from 1941-1943, e.g., Il-2, Pe-2, LaGG-3.
• HTK-B073 - AMT-4 Camouflage Green: upper surfaces camouflage on attack aircraft from the same period.
