Dragon 7561 10.5cm StuH.42 Ausf.E/F (1/72) – Advanced Plastic Model Kit

The plastic model kit Dragon 7561 10.5cm StuH.42 Ausf.E/F in 1:72 scale is a unique miniature of the German self-propelled gun from World War II. This model faithfully reproduces the E/F versions of the assault gun mounted on the famous StuG III chassis, equipped with a powerful 105 mm howitzer, making the vehicle a highly effective infantry support weapon in heavy frontline combat.

Historical Information

The self-propelled gun StuH.42 Ausf.E/F was developed in response to the need for fire support for Wehrmacht detachments, especially during assaults on well-fortified enemy positions on both the Eastern and Western fronts. The first units appeared in the German army in 1942 and were used until the end of the war in 1945. These vehicles were most often used in combat across the USSR, Italy, France, and in the Battle of Berlin. The design was based on the proven Panzer III chassis, but the 10.5 cm leFH 18 howitzer was mounted in a new superstructure.
