The Supermarine Spitfire Mk VB is one of the most famous Spitfire variants, widely used by the RAF during WWII (1941–1945). This aircraft gained legendary status, notably thanks to Polish 302 and 303 Squadrons who fought in the defense of Britain and during European offensive operations. The Mk VB version featured the characteristic B-type wing and was extensively used on all theaters of war, from Africa to Europe.
