Techmod 32033 - F-4D Phantom II (1/32) is a high-quality decal set dedicated to modelers building the legendary American multirole fighter F-4D Phantom II in a large and detailed 1:32 scale. This set, produced by the renowned Techmod company, allows you to recreate authentic markings and paint schemes of aircraft used by various air forces during the Cold War and modern times.

The kit includes decals for as many as seven unique painting variants:

  • F-4D 65-0801, 111th FIS, 147th FIG, Texas ANG, Ellington ANG Station, Houston, Texas, USA 1988
  • F-4D 66-0271, 127th TFS, 184th TFG, Kansas ANG, McConnel AFB, Wichita, Kansas, USA 1986
  • F-4D 66-8798, 151st TFS, 11th FW, RoKAF, Taegu AB, South Korea, 1990
  • F-4D 67-14884 / 3-616, 308th TFS, 32nd TFW, Imperial Iranian Air Force, TFB.3 Nojeh, Iran 1973
  • F-4D 67-14884 / 3-6712, 71st TFS, 71st TFW, Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, TFB.7 Hor, Iran, September 1980
  • F-4D 66-8802, 704th TFS, 924th TFG, USAF Reserve, Bergstrom AFB, Texas, USA 1988
  • F-4D 66-7751, 93rd TFS, 482nd TFW, USAF Reserve, Homestead AFB, Florida, USA, March 1984

The F-4D Phantom II itself is one of the most important fighters produced in the USA during the Cold War era, widely used by the United States Air Force, the Air Force of Iran and South Korea. It took part in numerous conflicts, including the Vietnam War, as well as various operations in the Middle East and Asia. The models covered by the decals reflect aircraft used in the years 1973-1990.

The decal set is produced using advanced printing technology on thin, sturdy model paper, guaranteeing excellent adhesion and sharp detail even with complex camouflage schemes – typical for Phantoms used by the ANG, USAF Reserve, RoKAF, and the Air Force of Iran. The product does not include any additional photo-etched or resin parts. This is a premium modeling accessory for plastic F-4D Phantom II model aircraft in 1/32 scale.

We recommend this decal set for intermediate and advanced modelers who want to faithfully recreate historical paint schemes and make their model unique. The application of decals is rated at a difficulty level of 2/5, thanks to an intuitive manual and high-quality prints. Techmod 32033 is an excellent choice for military aviation enthusiasts and fans of historical scale modeling.

Scale
1/32

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
