The Kh-25ML missile (Russian: Х-25МЛ, NATO reporting name: AS-10 'Karen') was developed in the USSR as a precise air-to-ground weapon intended for the destruction of land targets using semi-active laser guidance. It was used by the air forces of the USSR, and later Russia and many Eastern Bloc countries. The missile saw its most extensive use during the intervention in Afghanistan and in local conflicts of the last decades of the 20th century.
