Valom 72102 Fokker T.V (late) 1/72 – Plastic model kit

The Fokker T.V is one of the most distinctive Dutch twin-engine bombers of the World War II era. The presented Valom 72102 Fokker T.V (late) model is made in the popular 1/72 scale, allowing for highly precise detail reproduction while maintaining a compact size of the finished model. This sophisticated miniature is an excellent choice both for advanced modelers and collectors interested in military aviation history.

Information about the original design

Fokker T.V aircraft were developed in the Netherlands in the mid-1930s. Introduced into service in 1937, they were the primary bombers of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (Luchtvaartafdeling, LVA) just before and in the early stages of World War II. The (late) model represents a later version of this bomber, equipped, among other upgrades, with improved defensive armament. The Fokker T.V became especially notable during the German invasion of the Netherlands in May 1940—despite their already outdated design, Fokker crews bravely undertook bombing missions, intercepted German airborne formations, and attempted to repel Luftwaffe attacks against airfields and cities. After the fall of the Netherlands in 1940, most of the aircraft were destroyed in combat or through scuttling.
