Panzer Art RE35-649 DAK Pz. Bef. Wg III Ausf. H Sand Armor 1/35 - Resin Detail Set

Panzer Art RE35-649 is a specialist aftermarket detail set made of resin, designed for 1/35 scale models. This product allows for a faithful replication of the characteristic German command vehicle – Pz. Befehlswagen III Ausf. H in the typical sand-colored paint scheme used by the Afrika Korps (DAK – Deutsches Afrikakorps).

  • Scale: 1/35
  • Material: high-quality resin
  • Original user country: Germany
  • Historical period: World War II, North African Campaign (1941-1943)
  • Product category: aftermarket detail set – resin detail

Historical description

The Pz. Bef. Wg III Ausf. H is a German command vehicle based on the Panzer III light tank chassis, adapted for coordinating armored forces on the battlefield. The version used by the Africa Korps was tailored for the harsh desert environment—armor and the distinctive sand color scheme (sand armor) were of particular importance here. These vehicles played a key role in General Erwin Rommel's operations in North Africa.

Set features

The Panzer Art RE35-649 set contains precisely made resin parts that will enhance your model with faithfully recreated details difficult to achieve in plastic, such as external armor shields, construction details, and small elements characteristic of DAK vehicles. Resin offers exceptional sharpness of detail, and the parts fit popular plastic kits from various manufacturers.

  • Resin parts easy to process and assemble
  • No photo-etched or metal parts – all resin enhancements
  • Dedicated for plastic kits, e.g., Dragon, Tamiya, Academy

Who do we recommend it for?

We recommend this set to intermediate and advanced modelers interested in World War II subjects and DAK vehicles. The set will significantly increase your model's realism and allow for details otherwise impossible to achieve with standard plastic sprues.

Difficulty level: 3/5 (due to work with resin, prior experience is required).

Scale
1/35

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
