Historical description: The TACAM T-60 was developed after Romania captured Soviet T-60 light tanks during operations on the Eastern Front. In 1943, 34 vehicles were converted for mounting captured Soviet F-22 76.2 mm guns in an open, lightly armored superstructure. In its new role, the TACAM proved itself during battles on the Eastern Front against Soviet armored units, and its production contributed to improving the Romanian army's anti-tank capabilities, despite the limited number of units available. After Romania switched to the Allies in August 1944, all surviving vehicles were taken over by the Red Army.
