Panzer Art GB35-070 StuG III ausf. G Topfblende MG mantlet with KwK40 gun (final muzzle brake) 1/35

The Panzer Art GB35-070 StuG III ausf. G Topfblende MG mantlet with KwK40 gun (final muzzle brake) 1/35 set is an exceptionally precise accessory for 1/35 scale plastic models, designed specifically to faithfully reproduce the details of the German assault gun Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G. The set is perfect for enhancing plastic models by popular manufacturers such as Tamiya, Dragon, Zvezda, or Revell.

History and application:

The original StuG III Ausf. G was one of the most widely produced German armored vehicles of World War II, used by the Wehrmacht from 1942 until the end of the war in 1945. This vehicle took part in most campaigns on the Eastern and Western Fronts as well as in North Africa. The Ausf. G variant, with its distinctive armored Topfblende gun mantlet and the KwK 40 L/48 gun featuring the final muzzle brake, was Germany’s response to the increasing power of Allied anti-tank weapons.

  • Scale: 1/35
  • Country of use: Germany
  • Period: World War II (1942–1945)
  • Category: Accessory – enhancement set for plastic models
  • Mantlet material: high-quality resin
  • Barrel: precisely turned metal barrel, providing exceptional realism and durability
  • Set includes: Topfblende MG mantlet, breech imitation, and fully detailed KwK40 gun with the final version of the muzzle brake
  • Compatible with many popular 1/35 scale plastic model kits

Product advantages:

This set is recommended for advanced modelers who value historical accuracy and strive for the most realistic appearance of their models. Thanks to the resin mantlet and metal barrel, the finished model achieves an impressive level of detail that is often missing from standard plastic sprues. It will be especially appreciated by modelers upgrading World War II armored vehicles, as well as diorama and historical reconstruction enthusiasts.

Assembly difficulty: 3/5 – requires basic skills in resin processing and assembly of small metal parts.

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
