These professionally made, self-adhesive masks are perfectly matched to the shape and size of the glazing of the Academy model, making them an excellent addition to the plastic kit.

  • Scale: 1/72
  • Material: high-quality masking film with precise laser-cutting
  • Country of use of the original aircraft: USA as well as many countries in South America, Asia, and Europe
  • Aircraft service period: from the late 1960s (Vietnam War) – Cold War era and modern times
  • Product category: modeling accessories – painting masks

The A-37B Dragonfly is a lightweight, jet attack aircraft developed in the United States as a successor to the Cessna T-37 trainer. Widely used by US Air Force during the Vietnam War, it proved highly effective in battlefield support and reconnaissance missions. Thanks to its compact size and large cockpit glazing, it provided excellent visibility for pilots – however, this poses a challenge when precisely painting the model in 1/72 scale.

The Omask 57015 masks were made with laser technology, ensuring perfectly sharp and even edges. The product contains masks for all segments of the pilot's cockpit glazing as well as the side windows specific to the A-37B. Application is extremely easy – the masks adhere well, leave no adhesive residue, and can be easily removed after painting. Compatible with both airbrush and brush techniques, every modeler will achieve clean, sharp window frame lines and a professional finish.

Why choose Omask 57015?
Precision masks guarantee even frames, no paint bleed, and no frustration from manually cutting tape. We recommend this product to all modelers building the Academy A-37B Dragonfly in 1/72 scale – both beginners and advanced modelers looking for a perfect result.
Application difficulty level: 1/5 – very easy.

Scale
1/72

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
